Ricky Martin is Gay

Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, said to the world that he is a Gay last Monday.

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am," he wrote on his official rickymartin.com website.

The Latin pop star records and performs mostly in Spanish but also has a huge crossover following in English, thanks in large part to his 1999 hit "Livin' La Vida Loca" ("Livin' the Crazy Life" in English). Ricky Martin told his fans that his decision to divulge his sexual orientation marks "an amazing turning point in my life," and it started a few months ago when he began the process of writing his memoirs.

"From the moment I wrote the first phrase I was sure the book was the tool that was going to help me free myself from things I was carrying within me for a long time,"
Martin wrote on his website.

He said the secret over time had become "too heavy for me to keep inside" and that he joyfully embraces his gay identity as "something worth celebrating."

The pop singer added that he did not come out earlier because advisers over the years had warned that he might ruin his career were he to reveal to his fans that he is gay.

Coming out "fills me with strength and courage," Martin said.
"Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment."

"Many people told me... 'all the years you've worked and everything you've built will collapse,'"
he wrote.

Google will be leaving China

Google, the world's largest internet related business company have threats to leave the Communist country, China by April 10. - PCWORLD

Shanghai based Business news says that Google might pull out the plug on its operations in China and could announce the final decision on Monday. If this were true, it would bring an end to the controversies about cyberattacks of China against Google and other US Companies. But pulling out Search giant Google to China means another consequence, considering that China is the most populous country in the world.

China censors Internet access by the people and arrests those who go too far in criticizing the government including Chinese media and imposes imprisonment if case permits.

If we may remember, social networking sites are also banned in this country, and only Google Buzz is their way of doing so. If Google will be pulling out their services in this country, another limitation will be executed to its citizens.

Displaying the data in Visual Basic 6.0 Datagrid Controls

Using the self made module that you have incorporated in your Visual Basic  6.0 project, you can use this in displaying the data you have in your MS Access or SQL Server.

Objects needed:
Datagrid
Form

Add Datagrid control in your form. By default, Datagrid is not included in the list of toolbox at the right side of Visual Basic 6.0. So you need to add this by clicking Project in the Menu Bar, then Components, or just hit Ctrl+t in your keyboard. Select Microsoft Datagrid Controls 6.0 (OLEDB), remember to check the checkbox opposite the component. Click apply, then OK.

Suppose you have a table named Account in your database, with fields: Username, Password

Drag the Datagrid in the form. Double click in the form or form_load and write the following code:

Dim rs as recordset
Set rs = gsql(“Select * from Account”)
If rs.recordcount <> 0 then
Set datagrid1.datasource = rs
End if

Finished, you can now display the contents of your database in the datagrid. You can put this code anywhere you want, in the button or in the textbox. This code is not fix, you can always change the sql query depending on what you need.

If this code did not function well, kindly check your configuration of the database module.

Kris is not leaving The Buzz and ABS CBN

Kris Aquino is not leaving ABS CBN and the Buzz, this is based on the interview of inquirer. When she asked if she will pursue her plans of resigning from The Buzz, this is her response.

"No. No, no," "Actually, if you review carefully what I said, sinabi ko sinabihan ako ng sisters ko na walang quitter sa pamilya. So klaro naman ‘yon. (I am advised by my sisters that there will be no quitter in the family. That was clear) So I will be there on Sunday," she said.

When Kris was asked about her reaction why she was being targeted considering that her brother is a Presidential candidate, Kris said, "Kasi sikat ako... Aminin na natin. ‘Yan naman ang totoo." (Because I am famous, let’s accept it, that’s the reality)

"Kung wala akong pangalan, wala akong naipundar, hindi nila ako papansanin. E engot na ako kung papansinin ko pa sila. So ang papansinin ko na lang ‘yong nagmamahal sa akin” (If I didn’t build my name, I have no properties, I am not famous and no one will notice me. At the same time, I will be stupid if I will mind them, so I am just concerned with the people who love me.)

Kris also denied the claims that Noynoy is having a panic because of the results of SWS surveys, and NoyNoy is only using her fame to gain 2010 Presidential Elections popularity. She added, it is one of the strategies and part of the campaign.

FACEBOOK users are targeted by Email Scams

Facebook users are being targeted by computer hackers through email scams trying to steal their passwords, this was confirmed by MacAfee. They said some of the world’s popular social networking sites were receiving emails from Facebook site informing them that they have to reset their password and click on the attachment incorporated with the email.

Security firm confirmed that the attachment is a password stealer that is installed when the user clicks the attachment. This is very dangerous since Facebook has an approximate of 350 million users, MacAfee added.

If you happened to receive this kind of email with a subject: “Facebook Password Reset Confirmation!Customer Support”. Don’t dare open it, and if you happened to receive such email, don’t be curious, just delete it.

This kind of strategy is not new to us, but I want everyone to be aware about this email scam, since we are all avid fan of Facebook and we don’t want to spend another year for our farm, for our ville and for our friends.

The man can't be moved Music Video and Lyrics

Going Back to the corner
where I first saw you
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag
I'm not gonna move
Got some words on cardboard,
got your picture in my hand
saying, "if you see this girl
can you tell her where I am"

Some try to hand me money,
they don't understand
I'm not broke, I'm just
a broken hearted man
I know it makes no sense
but what else can I do?
How can I move on
when I'm still in love with you?

Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving

Policeman says "son you can't stay here"
I said, "there's someone I'm waiting for
If it's a day, a month, a year"
Gotta stand my ground even if
it rains or snows
If she changes her mind
this is the first place she will go

Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving
I'm not moving, I'm not moving

People talk about the guy that's waiting on a girl
ohhh..
There are no holes in his shoes but a big hole in his world
ohhh..

Maybe i'll get famous
as the man who can't be moved
Maybe you wont mean to
but you'll see me on the news
And you'll come running to the corner
cuase you'll know it's just for you
I'm the man who can't be moved
I'm the man who can't be moved
Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving
I'm not moving, I'm not moving (x2)

Going Back to the corner where I first saw you
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I'm not gonna move

NHI filed complaint to Arnel Pineda's rendition of National Anthem

Journey rocker, Arnel Pineda is the center of attention after the boxing fight of MannyPacquiao  and Joshua Clottey, NHI (National Historical Institute) said that they would file a complaint against the rock singer's wrong rendition of Lupang Hinirang, the Philippine National Anthem. Arnel sung in the welterweight fight of Manny Pacquiao last Sunday, March 14, 2010 against the Ghana Boxer Joshua Clottey.

According to them, Arnel didn’t follow the country's Republic Act 8491 (under Section 37) or the Flag and Heraldic Code, this states that the song should be sung according to its original music arrangement of Julian Felipe, the original composer of the national anthem. Violators may be fined P5,000 to P20,000 or jailed for a year."

NHI is a branch of government which ensures that the national anthem, Philippine flag and the national symbols are respected.

Embedded below is the video of Arnel Pineda’s rendition of Philippine National Anthem.

Jessica Simpson didn't brush her teeth

Jessica Simpson didn’t need regular brushing of teeth, she revealed this in an interview in one of the online radio stations. “I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful,” she said. So, how come Tony Romo and John Mayer didn’t even bother to complain?

“I just use Listerine–and sometimes I’ll use my sweater,” she said when asked how she kept her teeth from turning jet black.
Jessica also briefly told about the revelations from her kiss and tell boyfriend John Mayer. “Maybe in his mind he was thinking about giving me a compliment but he wasn’t,” she said. Mayer, in an interview that appeared in Playboy, described his and Simpson’s sex life as “sexual napalm.”

Simpson said that her ex “gave away my game,” adding that she was disappointed that Mayer revealed intimate details about their relationship. Mayer also notify about his “addiction” to Jessica Simpson, saying that “that girl is like crack cocaine to me.”

Best Summer Destination in Oriental Mindoro

Oriental Mindoro is a big island that lies in the heart of the Philippines. This also serves as the gateway in reaching the islands of Visayas and other nearby provinces. It has several municipalities, each of which bears their own hidden treasures. Puerto Galera, has the popular beaches in Oriental Mindoro and also coined as one of the beautiful bays in the world.

Along with this, Oriental Mindoro is not only known for its dazzling beaches but also for its natural rivers hidden in different mountainous areas. Paitan, Calapan City happened to be the residential area of Mangyans, (the native of Oriental Mindoro) where the scenic river I am mentioning can be found.

March! The summer month in the Philippines and also happened to be the vacation month of elementary, secondary and tertiary students. Many Filipinos and even tourists from outside the Philippines are hunting for places where they can celebrate their summer getaways. And I recommend, this is one of the best summer destinations here in Mindoro, I happened to went here for quite several times and nothing has changed in its attractive nature.

If you happened to have your vacation in Puerto Galera, try to reach this place, you will truly experience the feeling that I am talking about. Unlike other beaches or resorts in nearby provinces, this is a free summer destination where your family could really enjoy.

Below are the sample photos of the summer destination I am talking about.

Kris Aquino will resign in ABS CBN

Kris Aquino gave thanks already to ABS CBN and to the viewers. This happened this March 14, 2010 in the episode of The Buzz. This is in consonance with the issue of walking out of Ruffa Gutierrez last week. Kris Aquino confessed everything about her life. She thanked her three sisters for playing the role of her mother. She also told the Filipino people that she is not the candidate for 2010 presidential elections, it was her brother. Kris also asserted how difficult it is for her because she is always criticized and judged at the expense of Noynoy Aquino.

She even quoted that during her campaign in Ilo Ilo and Zamboanga, a lot of people showed their support for her but the irony of it, issues keep on circling around her. She said that when she talked with her three sisters, they told her to hold on and hold her head up high because they are a good family and whatever people say about her is understandable because of the 2010 presidential elections. Kris Aquino also poured out her heart that she is trying to be the best daughter that she can be in order to honor the respect of people for her family especially to her parents. She said she is not perfect and will never be perfect but she can be good because she and her family love the Filipino people.

She is willing to sacrifice everything for NoyNoy because of his promise to take care of the family and as Kris Aquino sign of gratitude, she would do everything for NoyNoy referring to the public apology she made on National television. Her sister also advised Kris to take care of whatever escape from her mouth, be extra careful whenever she appears on ABS CBN AND THE BUZZ and be strong because she has only two months to bear the pressure of the 2010 Presidential Elections. In the end, Kris thanked the people for allowing her to share her life to them for fourteen years and the ABS CBN for understanding her and her whole family who always loved her in spite of the issues.

MANNY PACQUIAO won over JOSHUA CLOTTEY

Winner by Unanimous decision, MANNY PACQUAIO reigns victories over Joshua Clottey after 12 rounds of boxing. He won in the boxing fight coined as “THE EVENT” held at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Arlington Texas this 14th day of March. The stadium was occupied by 51, 000 fans and viewers.

The fight of Manny Pacquiao (the pound for pound boxer in the world) with Clottey (a boxer from Ghana, Africa) can be considered as one of his hardest battles in his boxing career. Before the fight, predictions from boxing experts thought that this boxing match would not last in 6 rounds, but the world turned counterclockwise. Joshua has his peculiar style of boxing which made hard for Manny to accomplish his target. Clottey used his high-guard defense of covering his face avoiding the straight sound punch of Manny. Clottey has hammered style of punch and this made Pacquiao’s right eyebag to be bruised. Many scored in ROUND 1-10, 12 while Clottey only scored in ROUND 11. A boxing fight video is embedded below.
Pacquiao is being idolized by Clottey but unlike Pacquiao and dela Hoya fight where Manny shown his idolization with Oscar, this boxing match keeps the fire burning. Regardless of the opponent, the pound for pound champion who gained 7 different titles in 7 different divisions still substantiate his title.

ARNEL PINEDA LUPANG HINIRANG in Pacquiao Clottey Fight

In every fight of Manny Pacquiao, the people’s champ, people are not just concerned about the main event but also on its initial highlights, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. So many Filipino singers had proven their talents in singing this song since some of us that failure to correctly sing the anthem means failure of the fight. And besides, this is one of the world events where Filipino singers can be recognized by singing the Lupang Hinirang.

In the Pacquiao-Clottey fight, Arnel Pineda was chosen to sing the Philippine National Anthem. Arnel Pineda is the lead vocalist of the band Journey and happened to be a regular performer as rock singer in ASAP, a television show in ABS-CBN. Arnel Pineda became known in Youtube for his extraordinary voice, he was discovered by the band Journey and the rest is history. Below are just some of the videos of Arnel Pineda showing his exemplary performance.
