How true is this? Idol by Sarah Geronimo which was released months from now will be axed from primetime in ABS-CBN. Sarah Geronimo was known as "Pop Star" but now being termed by one of the entertainment sites as "Flop Star" because of the poor TV ratings of Idol in Primetime.
Idol is starred by ABS-CBN singers like Sarah Geronimo, Sam Milby and Coco Martin. According to rumors, Idol will be aired for just two weeks after receiving poor feedback and ratings from nationwide TV Ratings survey.

Idol's major primetime competitor is Survivor Philippines by GMA 7 but always inferior to TV ratings. In the message of Eric Salut, he quoted: “IDOL was planned as a 10-13 week series. Due to constraints in production, schedules and difficulty in daily tapings till it’s aired, IDOL will not be able to fulfill its full 10-week term on the air. We wish to say thank you to everyone who supported IDOL.”
