Super Typhoon Megi will come in the Philippines

Fresh from Ondoy, another super typhoon will come the Philippine Area of responsibility. Megi is the international name of the typhoon and is expected to come tomorrow, Saturday morning.

In preparation for Megi, PAGASA reminded the public to assure all the safety and precautionary measures. Likewise, fishermen are also reminded to just stay home to avoid sea tragedies.

Metro Manila will stay under a mix of sun and clouds with a good chance for light to moderate rainshowers on Friday afternoon and evening.

The same is expected for Baguio, Laoag and Subic, as well as Tagaytay and the Bicol region.

On the other hand, thick clouds with scattered rains will dampen Cebu, Bacolod and Boracay, as well as the rest of the central islands extending to Davao, Cagayan de Oro and other provinces in the southern region through Sunday. - ABS CBN
